We never received any real leads…they have several thousand of our money and refuse to communicate. We had a free Porch account apparently for several years. We realized it was set up incorrectly and spoke with the team about closing it since we never received any leads they convinced us to try their “PRO SERIES PLATFORM”. This was a few thousand a month and it would auto replenish only if lead funds were spent..
You should always do your own vetting on any contractor you hire. This includes making sure their licensing is up to date, they have enough insurance, the company is bonded, etc. With that in mind, Porch Home Services does not automatically check credentials. They do offer the option for businesses to obtain a background check and post the badge for it, but they don’t make it mandatory. All leads that was purchased either was 6 months old or the client refused to respond. Customer service for the contractor was absolutely no help in trying to resolve the issues. I was not expecting this level of service considering what I’ve been through in the past few years with contractors etc.
